Hey Liz! I don`t see anything wrong with your post...just ignore `em! Good luck to you and GoodGirl growing it out, and I hope that it gets as long and gorgeous as you could possibly wish for. :)

If it is an rxclusive site for long haired people only....then you cannot be here either Gord. Admiring it is not enough - according to you.

Jac, the strand is called Long Hair Support. Check my record: I have always supported long hair. Always. Heck, I'll give you my mother's e-mail address and she'll tell you I liked longhaired girls when I was in the eighth-grade. Again, Long Hair Support. Not people who want to tell us about their haircuts. Nothing personal, Liz.
how can being rude to me, and critisizing where i post not be taken offencively?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if i were you i would think before you post coz you`re just contradicting yourself!!!!!!
Gord - The description on the thread for Long Hair says "growing it out takes commitment and support" - growing it out - meaning going from a shorter length to a longer length. I think Becky explains it quite well. Thanks Becky. And happy growing Liz and Goodgirl. I bet your hair looks absolutely beautiful.

Trims are definately needed from time to time. Yes it is a Long Hair Support board, but why would people want long, damaged, not-so-pretty looking hair? So for those people who trim quite a bit off, good luck in growing it back out nicely, and with minimal damage! I am still in the process of growing mine out, it is almost to my natural waist and I LOVE IT!!! I hate getting it trimmed, but I still do. I try to trim it every 3 months or so, since I do not do much with it! So Good luck again!

Not to take sides or anything, but being a shorter-haired female (17 1/2") that loves long hair I'd have to say that Liz_naz's post IMO is OK here on the long hair board. She was just letting everyone know that her hair is healthy again and she is still planning on growing it longer. No offense Gord (so don't take this in a negative way), but every long-haired woman had to go through a growing out stage. This can be quite long and very annoying. But just because Liz doesn't have long hair (or your version of long hair) YET, doesn't mean that she's not going to or doesn't need our support in helping her reach her goal. Even long-haired gals need a trim from time to time. I just want to tell Liz.... keep growing girl!! ;)

Sensibly put, Becky. Good luck in your pursuit of long hair.

Take some of your own medicine Gordo. The sight says Long Hair Support and she stated in her message that she didn`t mind because she was growing it out.

Yes, I agree! :-) It was difficult when my ultra long hair fell out and became very damaged. This site is definitely helping me through the long process of growing my hair back to its lush and long state! It also helped me through the horrible times when my long hair was falling out! The site is not just for those that already have long hair, but learning from those who do so that we may have it as well! Thanks everyone for being so supportive! And please do not kick me out of this group until I have hair down to my backside! ;-)
Hey! We are in the same boat! :-) But doesnt it feel and look great?? Imagine how wonderful your hair will look like as it gets longer! Im really happy I did the big trim! A bit shorter... but soooooooo much healthier and less bother with all the corrective conditioners! With the biotin, it seems to be growing a little bit faster.. definitely healthier. PS Tried your olive oil treatment! Worked like a charm! Thx :-)
