Hi Splash
Doing highliights at home is probably a bad idea. First of all it is very difficult to pull hair through a hiii-lighting cap evenly. Not to mention knowing the correct lightening products to use to lift you to the proper stage of lighhtening. If you wanted to do a foil weave that is even more difficult. All in all doing highlights at home will result in a trip to the salon for corrective color. Corrective color in the salon will cost big buck!
Well I swore to myself two years ago to never ever do my color/highlights at home after a not so good experience that I had!! The best advice I could offer is be very carefull!! But I think it is definatley worth paying about $100 every 10-12 weeks to get the best results!!

I love the look of highlights but can't keep them up because of the cost and fast hair growth. Is it really bad to do them at home? I'm thinking about doing them at home and want opinions.
