I don't know but just a few random thoughts. Maybe you could bleach your hair to orange, do a starnd test with an auburn and see what happens. The orange undertones may work with the auburn color.
Since you currently have dye in your hair, going to a lighter color will be more complicated. You need to remove the existing dye before adding more color. The process involved to achieve the results you want is not quick and easy for a novice. I'd seriously suggest going to a salon!
But it does look like red would be a good color on you.
If you want to avoid the salon and do "something" yourself to make a change, a few strategically placed highlights would look nice. You wouldn't have to use a color remover first (because you'd be using bleach). Of course, definitely do a strand test first and keep an eye on it so you get the timing right.
I would like some suggestions. I want to change my hair color to red (auburn) color. However, I don't know if it will look right on me. The last time I tried to change my hair color to red, it turned out in a disaster (it was my fault though). So, I will include some photos of my current color, my natural color and the color I want. I would like to know if it's possible to get my hair like that and if it will look okay. Also, how to get my hair that color. (Hopefully without going to a salon.) If not, maybe you could suggest something else (highlights? another color?)
I know, it's silly to want to look like a celebrity. I really like the color though! Ha, that's not me, by the way.
THat is my current hair color. Sorry it's such a silly picture. I was just messing around. This was the only picture I have that I thought showed my hair color really well. It's currently dyed (with a demi-permanent), but it's lightening up. It was black! Ack! That's a whole other story though.
That's my natural color, for the most part. I shrunk the picture a little so it looks a little funny. Anyway, as you can see my eyebrows are really dark.
Well, thanks in advanced to anyone that helps me out. I greatly appreciate it!
