ill give these waves 2more years before I put my brush down. So many heads have waves now where im at its ridiculous.

There's never a point where you can "Retire the brush" but there does come a point where the only time you really have to brush is when ur going out or something, jus to do ur hair. I've been there in the past... Cry

my method.
products:
a.medium brush
b.soft brush
c.pomade of my choice(like dax, murray's, s-curl 360, sportin waves, extreme african pomade, and more ish that i can't remember)
 
1. I brush my hair for like 5 mins before i wash.
2. I place my head under and brush. Take it out and brush for 10 mins.
3. Rub the shampoo in my head as I would the pomade and brush it in for 5 mins.
4. Rinse my head out and brush for 5 mins. Repeat the shampooing.(I use a soft brush while I'm washing.)
5. I brush my hair completely dry for 10-20 mins.
6. Rub in carrot cream or pink lotion and brush for 10 mins.
7. Rub in a pomade of my choice then brush for 20-30 mins.
8. Put on a wave-cap or du-rag or both.
Steps 5-8 contains a medium brush. Then I go over it with a soft brush for 10 mins.
 
Sometimes I do the H20 method.
