i know what you are talking about......i have long fingernails so i can easily pick the edge of the blue backing off the tape with one thumbnail and indexfingernail, while at the same time holding the white paper with the tape still stuck to it with my other set of finger/thumbnail
does that make sense? (well, it does to me).......and you peel it off slowly or else you get a Protac crumble

I take the blue backing off first....place the weft onto the tape....fold the tape over the weft. Use something hard (I use my wide tooth comb handle) to rub the tape to get the tape stuck really well to the hair. I rub the tape really well with my comb handle for a couple of minutes, flip it over and do both sides of the tape strip. If the tape is stuck well to the weft it shouldnt wrinkle or crinkle up) Then when Im ready to install to my head I peel off the white strip. JUst go slowly and peel the white strip off
i still can not get the ends where i start peeling from the white strip from curling up what am i doing so wrong? Sherri or amm? i have the blue paper down on my desk and do i now take the blue backing off first then peel the bottom white strip across? when i try it that way it is scrunching up on me so now my corner is balled up you know the sticky adhesive. I really can't be that dumb.(lol) Can you again give me step by step so i don't keep doing the same mistake.

hairgirl, I think I know what you're referring to.
Prep the tape by folding it in half lengthwise. When peeling the strips off, keep the tension equal and directly in the center of the tape. (Hope that made sense.) I have experienced that pulling too much up or down will crinkle the tape.
thanks sherri, by the way thanks for the fast service on my protac and liquid gold. Still don't understand how not to make the sticky tape from crinkeling up instead of smooth. any advice?
