I like it shorter but I prefer the darker color.

I was kinda debating the same thing, but that certainly looks like her regular hairline and that she simply got "reblonded".  I was debating if it is one of those "pinned under" bobs we've seen several times recently (Jessica Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, etc) since those look mighty convincing.  And if you look, the bottom of her hair in some of those pictures stands out away from her head in an odd way.
 
So, I'm not convince it's cut, but do think it's her own hair.

Eve is indeed super hot, short or long!  I'm not crazy about the way it's styled in the new pics but the color is cute.
