Ardell's Lights & Brights

Has anybody used Ardell's Lights and Brights semi-permanent hair color? They come in packets and sold at beauty supply stores. It says on the back of the Milk Chocolate color it can be used on hair that was colored a light blonde to bring it back to a natural brown shade, or mixed with the Sand color to make a light golden brown (which is what I was wanting to do).I don't want to use any peroxide since its already dried out from coloring and "cone" products. It sounds like this stuff would be perfect. Should I go for it using this product, or can someone recommend something so I won't wind up with a color disaster?
