try this fam, you take a washcloth run it under hot water and rub your hair with it, same direction that you would brush. Then brush your hair for a few times, mind you your hair should not supa dupa wet just damp. Then you add your moisturizer: carrot cream, olive cream, pink lotion, blue magic, any moisturizer will do. Use a moderate amount to each side then brush your hair until its nearly dry. Next you add your pomade sportin waves gold is what I used to use its pretty good. Then brush your hair again, since yall have coarse hair a medium brush should do the trick.

Remember to follow it up with a softie fam. And for your right side not laying down and some area's in the front just focus on them more then the areas that are wavin already. Just dont neglect your other strong areas, I did that and my strong side waves became crooked. Good luck fams

I use Carrot Cream and S-Curl 360 Style Pomade. I tried dat Murray's but it was too thick and I had a hard time spreadin it (even microwavin it hardly did anything). Would u reccomend puttin Carrot Cream in AFTER I put my pomade in? I dont got a good method cause the ones I read say u should keep your hair wet (which dont make no kinda sense because if you keep wettin it with the pomade and products in, it will start to turn white).

To me, I got bad hair (which is why Im tryna get waves) because its that typical nappy n***a hair and I got a lot of cow licks, not just one on the top of the crown but all around my head. Can someone please help me out and tell me a easy way to get the right side to lay down and the cowlicks to disappear, its always frizzy! I brush a lot too.

Do you use pomade? If u use a light pomade, try using a heavier one like Murray's.
