Quote If I need to go higher on the crown and sides (where the tape might show) can I just use LG to glue the weft on? If so, how do I do it?
yes you can use LG. check out my demo on the LG in the links

Quote Where do I glue it on..the actual scalp, or part scalp and hair root, or just the root of hair?
on the root of the hair, although its nearly impossible to not get ANY glue on your scalp...

Quote How much glue do I use and how do I attach it to my head without getting glue all over my fingers?  How long does it take to dry so I can let go and attach the next weft?
spread the LG onto the track in a nice even coat, it doesnt have to be real thick, but I tend to put a generous amount on the track. It is messy but try using a syringe it will cut down on the mess!

Quote Can you double and triple wefts and install with just LG?
Yes you can double the wefts using LG...triple wefts feel a little bulky, but can be done.

Quote I am also having some trouble covering and blending in short layers on sides and top of crown. How high can I actually go? I have really thick hair.
If you have thick hair you can go really high, the higher you go the better coverage and blending you will get.

Quote How many strips of protac and hair can I put on each side? Is it better to only use single weft on the sides.
I use long rows that go all the way around, some people do the back and sides in shorter rows. But you can double weft the sides too. I usually have two rows that run temple to temple over the top of my ears and then a short row on each side up closer to my part. You can do as many rows as will fit without the tapes overlapping each other.

Quote Do I put them straight across or at an angle? I would really like to be ab le to wear a low pony tail so I need advice on pacement
I put mine in straight rows and have no problems doing a low ponytail, I wear a low ponytail most of the time to work.

When I apply pro-tac I find there's no set plan to where you put them as everyone has different shaped heads and hair!! I find the best thing to do is have a play in placing the pro-tac (but without actually attaching it if you see what I mean) and with your other hand pull the rest of your hair back to see if it is visible or not. After doing it for a while you'll find that this comes more naturally.

Everyone is different but I tend to use double or triple wefts at the back and sides. I use one piece of pro-tac that goes all the way and rarely add to the front as it's never necesssary (a 12" strip goes pretty far).

As for using LG, you simply dab it on the weft (just one coat does it for me) and then take the ends and place them in. It's a lot easier if you get someone else to place it for you.

Don't put it on your scalp whatever you do, it'll irritate you and drive you mad. Drop slightly down and leave about 1cm of hair above.

I've never tried double and triple wefing with LG. I'm not sure what you mean...

You can put as much pro-tac in as you like. Keep going until you're happy. I tend to do three rows of double wefts.

I hope that's made a start for you...

Okay, I have my very first install with Pro-tac under my belt and ready to take down and try another one.

My questions are:

If I need to go higher on the crown and sides (where the tape might show) can I just use LG to glue the weft on? If so, how do I do it?
