I would suggest co-washing. (This is when you only condition your hair instead of shampooing it. Don't get me wrong, I still shampoo my hair once a week but this is what I do in the mean time ). I powerwalk several times a week, so I know exactly what you mean. I co wash 4 to 5 times a week and let my hair airdry in a bun or ponytail.

I do Karate about 4 times a week, and the gym about 2. My hair is dripping water after each workout. I know that I can not wash my hair everyday because it will remove all the oils. I also know blow drying my hair all the time can damage it. And I've heard that the sweat (salt water) makes the hair break off. What can I do to properly take care of my hair after a good sweat?
