Hi Lisa, most of the styles you show have hair that is much longer than yours in the front.  Since the overall style will be different because of that, what are you thinking you'd like to do in the front?

I really like some of the styles where the neck is cut ultra short.  But what is critical to the cut, at least to me,  is how the front is cut.  There is one style that is really incredible that I've seen on the web.  The bangs are long, and the back of the top of the head is kind of long, but the bottom of the neck is really short.  It completely redefines the head.  With a certain type of face and body, the look is just adorable!  I saved the style on my computer, but I didn't jot down the website where I found it, darnit.

Lisa, I agree with Hawg. Cut the back and sides shorter. Have them use a #3 about 1/2" above the ears and taper the rest tight. have them use texture shears to blend the line of demarcation. That's the wieght line I am not a big fan of whats called a mushroom cut. If I could I would post a picture of a cut to show you. I had cut my wifes hair ultra short trhee weeks ago and thats grrown back already. She's ready for a short boyish type of cut next.Let us know if you need any help. thats why we are here

Go for it; if you don't like it, it will be back to the way it is now in a couple of weeks.

your links are NOT working
but may i say i have 2 hairstyles that  i totally loooove on women one of them is a nice bob with a tad of clippering in the back   (nothing too severe)
and  the other is LOONG one length hair with blunt bangs just above the brows   BOTH of those styles are deadly!
Long with BLUNT bangs or ALL cut to lip length, I cant decide my favorite!

What do people think of clipper back styles?  I like the look and think of doing the cut but nervous.
