Lasergirl, what a shame I can't see the pictures . Is it because I work on Mac? Or maybe you don't love me as much as you do the other girls .
I'm burning up with curiosity!!!!

I learn to love and try to understand everyone I meet. I see the rainbow hiding in their eyes.

I use the lg to bond the hair together so it doesn't shed. Put
the hair on the protac, then rub the lg into the hair, then close up
the protac and seal with heat. That solved the shedding for me.
I still have the pics for this thread and will try to find a way to get them back up. Sorry!

They hold up well if you use a little lg or keratin between the protac
pieces. I use this towards the top/front of my hair and normally
get about 5 to 6 weeks out of it, which I'm happy with.

Leyda, I had a bit of a reaction to the orange remover when I last used it. I now use acetone on a cotton ball and haven't had any problems and I actually think it's easier than the orange remover.
I had a little shedding but not too bad. I switched over to bohyme last week though (the bss hair didn't look so hot after a few days). I've started using keratin glue on the hair inside the protac though and it holds perfectly. I think that just cutting the end of the hair and applying a little LG and not folding over (or using) the top piece is better and it's much flatter.
I'm thrilled with using the protac this way, but still trying to find a way to reuse the hair. Think I'll try hand-tied bohyme next time and just do this method around the top.

That look so good but I can't do it, I try to use pro-tac but that tape is to strong and just come out with orange remover and I' m allergic to this product, so I change for some good liquid gold that I buy from Sherrie site .
That is really a great idea laser girl, I would love to try this in the area of my bangs, and if it works I am with the other girls I wouldnt mind having to change it every couple weeks or lose a little hair. Will definatly try this one real soon. Thanks for sharing this with everyone!
Well, in that case I know what I'm doing with my 4th of July evening! I have some keratin I cut from the tips that I think I can melt onto the pieces. Wish I had a gun and keratin stick. I've got so many different "experiments" on my head right now that I don't know if I have enough room left... I'm sure I can squeeze it in the back somewhere.

With how fast the citrus remover works on the tapes, I don't think it will even effect the keratin. When I did my removal of my "tips" install, it did not break down the glue, but the hair was so bad that I just threw it away and never tried to clean the hair and reuse it.
I think for the citrus to work on the keratin, it would have to sit on there a long time.
