diva- which hair at ep or giovannis- do u just bring in a sample of what u want- or do they have all textures?
Well IMO for most ethnic textures (Afro type hair textures) Extensions Plus relaxed textured hair is one of the BEST matches in terms of high quality hair that I've seen for both natural and relaxed Afro hair textures.. The only thing IMO that matches as well are the BSS brands in particular Sensationnel and Hollywood hair Yaki textures.. (But we all know how these hairs wear over time..)
In 2002 when I bought the Extensions Plus hair, they did not offer the relaxed texture in their ready made stock hair which is why I opted for custom hair from them back then. In order to get the texture match right, I did give them a hair sample, but I also looked at some hair samples they had available. From this, the sales rep and I determined which level of texturization I needed to match my hair, and ordered my custom hair accordingly..
Giovanni's is the only other company I've seen that offers these textures as well in high quality hair.. Giovanni's offers the ability to order hair with more or less texturization for no additional cost. With Extensions Plus this is a custom order. Generally speaking 30% texturization should match most (not all) Afro textures. The Extensions Olus relaxed textured hair is 30% texturization..

Hello Everyone! Every day I read your posts, this is my first time leaving a message. I really need your help. I am a Hair extension Junky!! I have not wear extensions since 4 months ago. I have wear them glued and sew-in method, but always long and very curly since my natural hair is curly (and frizzy) and blends well.
I just cut my hair in a bob style, and relaxed it. I wanted to get rid of all the color treated hair and start allover. Plus Straight hair make my face look smoother and takes years of my face.
A lady at the buauty store told me to buy Straight hair for my extensions, but the texture wont blend with mine. It seems all straight hair out there is so super straight and so silky.
I wouls like something with soft wave but with some texture.
I wash my hair and since I relaxed it it dries in a soft wavy patern, then I flat iron it straight. My hair is very thick, is naturally freezy, I use a lot of products to keep it in control. I am hispanic (my grandma is black, grandpa is white) I have a mixed texture in my hair.
What type of hair would you suggest I use? and also what method of hair extensions would you recomend for me that will look more natural now that I relaxed my hair?
