I spray oil sheen on the glue and use a fine tooth comb to remove the glue is works fine for me.

If you've never tried acetone, it's worth a shot.  On some extensions it's ridiculous how easy it makes it to remove the glue.  Can't hurt, you know?

Thanks for the ideas. I appreciate it. I will be hairless tonight and I'll let you know how it goes. What do you ladies use to bond your hair? Do you use glue, if so what kind? The glue I use is messy, I hate it!!!! Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks again.

sounds like latex glue. There is a remvoer for latex and also a shampoo etc that you can find at Sallys or most BSS's. Latex was my first experience with extensions...what a mess.

You can use anything oily to help break down the latex or as Shirylyn said try conditioner. Really working it in with your nails or fingertips and let it sit...sometimes for a few hours. Use a fine tooth comb and comb out the loose bits of glue...shampoo, repeat. Be patient and dont PULL what isnt loose! Ive never tried acetone on latex glue, but it worth a shot...who knows it works to remove other glues, maybe it will work on the latex.

What type of glue do you use? Does it have a remover, if so apply that and then shampoo with  a fine tooth comb to remove glue. Conditioner makes your hair extremly soft, so it will help with removal also.

I've been wearing Bohyme extensions for two years now. No complaints. Other than removing the glue is the biggest pain in the butt. Im not sure what brand of glue is used, but I have a hard time getting it out. The extensions come out rather easily, but the sticky, almost greasy like glue doesnt. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting this stuff out? Its not even big clumps or anything, its just sticky and slimy. I would like to keep the extensions out for a week or so to perhaps let the glue work itself out, but of course am addicted to long hair and don't know if I could survive. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! I read somewhere else that someone used acetone, does this work??
