I'd def. say try your hardest to find some picture.. describing color can be very hard.
I just wouldn't want them to mess up.
I'd say it was a medium golden brown with darker brown underneath.

Thing is, i cant print it, my inks almost gone so its printing sort of purple effect lol not good! Im gonna try and grab a mag and see if theres any pics, but I'll try and explain it as maybe golden copper :/

It's not at all weird to take pictures with you! In fact, it's a MUST! I wouldn't go without some pictures, so keep looking until you find some or see if you can print that one in color.  The hair looks golden brown, darker brown at the bottom and maybe some dark blonde highlights thrown in. Thing is, everybody's definitions/descriptions and interpretations are different.

I'd just take the picture in with you.
May seem a bit weird, but I've done it a few times {printed off pictures and taken them in to a salon} ..and every time I've done so, I've gotten exactly what I've wanted.
Of course mine wasn't for coloring purposes, and when it prints out it may look a little differently.. but they should have a book of colors where you can choose from and see what you like. I'd just see what looks close to the picture.

Similer to my last topic.
Going into Toni&Guy on tuesday to book another appointment for another full head of highlights, Its what Ive had done twice now to strip my dyed black hair out.
This is my color now.
 
And this is the color I want to acheive.(left)
 
Thing is what do I say to explain the color or colors I want to get?
