I have baby fine hair. The minerals or something are coating my hair and it is just breaking off. Maybe it is falling out too... i don't know. Trying to find a way to stop the damage now that I am not using that water anymore...

How did the water cut your hair short?  I can understand if your hair fell out, but how did it get shortened by water?

I live in Nova Scotia Canada. Last summer I moved to a farm in a rural area. I knew the water had high contents of iron and manganese and would never drink it but I definitely did not know what it would do to my hair.
 
My hair was to my waist. Now I hardly have any left. Literally - i didn't have bangs at all. My hair was all one length and very healthy. Now I have bangs and hardly any length at all. At least 12 inches gone off the back and i don't know what to do! I am getting a water system installed asap but what can i do to stop the process> if anyone knows anything I would so apprecaite your help!!!!
