I used to wash my braids in the shower. I applied a diluted shampoo mixture to the braids so that the shampoo washed out easily without leave any residue behind.. Rinse thoroughly.. You want to make sure all traces of the shampoo are rinsed out. Then gently pat dry the braids and let air dry. I used a little Sebastian Mud to sooth down any frizzies.. I aslo tie the braids down at night with a satin scarf..
