You could always try just doing a single strand -- while still attached to your head, that is. Ie, starting about an inch from your scalp, apply it to just a single strand. That way, if there were averse effects from mixing the chemicals, the strand would break off, say, but the rest of your hair would be unaffected.

Hi:

If you are referring to Fudge by Nexxux or Scruples I do not know of anyway to mke these colors permanent. I do know that if we are speaking of the same product the best thing about them is that if you go lime green one night it will completely shampoo out leaving you ready for hot pink the next day. One thing I can say is that usually there is no way to change a certain kind of color to another one just by usuing a developer. If you try it and it works let me know. Forest

I love Fudge Paintbox but I am looking for a way to make it permanent in my hair. I usually just sleep with it in overnight and love the results. I would just like to know if there is any way I can mix it with anything to make a permanent color. I asked the lady at the local beauty supply house where I bought it (who uses fudge too) and she has never tried making it permanent nor does she know anyone who has. I thought about mixing it with either 40vol creme or clear developer then firing that in my hair to really make it "stick". Does anyone have any suggestions. Thank you very nuch!
