If you're wearing Pro-tac like I am, sometimes various removers can cause some skin irritation especially when they linger on the skin too long.

Here's what I do: Take a lawn & garden bag or even a large kitchen bag, cut a small hole on the bottom corner and poke your head through it so the bag covers your shoulders and torso. Gather the baggie at the top where it's loose around the neck and secure the end with a rubber band so it's snug but not tight. (Don't put a band around your neck.) ;)]

Now when you're in the shower applying the remover, most, if not all of it, stays away from your skin from the neck down.
