If you get a chance to give your hair some R&R try Philosophy Splendor Hair Marinade + shampoo and conditioner . I left it on overnight and my hair feels completely soft and restored with no oilyness. It's fun to use and it just works awesome =) I'm amazed! =) I don't usually buy things online but I was kinda desperate and I'm glad I did.  I think you can get it online and in department stores as a month kit for $35, it's a little expensive but for my thick hair it worked wonders! They're sold out at Sephora but this can give you an idea what the bottle looks like.  It' takes about .25oz per a use of the marinade with short hair.  http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P144725&categoryId=B70
