We do care!  LOL.  Sometimes in the summer this hair board is a little slower with replies than in other times of the year.  I have never bleached my hair, but I do dye my naturally dark brown hair red.  What type of dye did you use?  Don't forget that water (in the shower) is the number one cause for fading hair color.  Can you get away with not getting your hair wet everyday?  Go as long as you can without getting your hair wet.

I think if you do a strand test with a brown temporary dye, you may get the brown color with a red hue you would like.  If that doesn't work with a strand test, then try a permanent dye like L'oreal Preference in a brown color, and try not to get that head wet everyday.  You could also try a color depositing conditioner, like Biolage Earth Tones, or Artec Professional colors to help keep your color more vibrant for a longer period of time.

Goodluck!!

i really like the red. i think you should keep it. as for the color fading, you shoul invest in a good deep conditioner. i really like dumb blonde by tigi bed head. and ask the sales associate at the store for a leave in that protects color. it should prevent alot of color fading when used with a good color treated hair shampoo.
learn to love what you were born with
you can do anything if you set your mindto it (just dont try this with hair, that could turn out bad)

When you hair is bleached you use a fller and the the hair color you want. Bleached hair has no pigment to it you use the filler to add color and then you put the color you want after you use the filler. It helps grab color and keep it cause you have no pigments. Do you have Beauty Supply places?

You will probly need to use a filler which you can get at Sallys for brunette hair but if you want to keep it red you could use a red filler. I wish you the best of luck.

I started a new post as, my old one didnt really explain much etc etc.
Sooo anyway,a week ago,i dyed my blonde hair red..it came out a nice red but some parts were a little orangey in certain lights

Heres a pic

Anywayyy, after a few washes,it has faded to a pinky orangey yellow dull colour Like this ->

And i was just wondering,if in a few weeks it would be ok to put a brown on it? i wish i could do it sooner as im already getting odd looks lol  but i don't think your allowd to after dying it so soon? so yeah..basically will a brown cover it? as i used to be red when i was younger .. for about 2years,and when i tryed to cover it with a black, the red kept coming through after a week.

anyway id be really greatful for suggestions etc etc...and i cant go to a hairdresser as im getting over agraphobia and wouldnt be able 2 cope
