is ur hair cool, warm, or neutral. honey brown is a warm color. if u put that on. and ur hair is cool it will come out neutral and not want u want. ur has to be warm or neutral to get the color u want. and toners work like this.
red cancels out green
blue cancels out orange
purple cancels out yellow.
u base toners on that. if u hair has unwanted green use red. if its unwanted yellow use purple.

I bit of hair history.
Virgin hair until 5 weeks ago. Natural hair color level 3. hairstylist lifted my hair color 3 levels. I did not like the resul and she changed it back to she used a 5-0 with a semi-permanent(it turn out darker then what i expected). Now my hair hair has grown a bit . I will like to achieve a level 5 or 6 light honey brown.
question....
1) do i have to remove the color i have now??? if so how??? specific since planning to do this at home with sister 's help.
2) My hair tends to have a redish and copper tones to it when i colored in past years. Do i use a toner in the gray colors?????
3) do i treat do roots (new grow different)????

Please help

Claude your input will be great   TNX
