Hey all!

Thank you so much for the responses!

Chloe, I have often used hairspray on my extensions with no problems.  You just have to wash them a little sooner because of the buildup then without it.

I'm glad someone else brought up this question, these tips are great. I was wondering, though, can hairspray be used in this style? Sometimes it can make hair frizzy and etc, and I'm sure it depends on the quality of the hair that you have, but I have been wondering if it is okay to use on hair? (Specifically Remy).

for the seperated curls problem you could try alternating between two different iron sizes. i do this all the time for musicals where hair has to last for several hours. you would do one curl in say a one inch size, and the next in say a three-quarter inch size. when you do this, the curls are not uniform in size, and there is less chance that they will just bunch up. sherrie's suggestion sounds good too.
learn to love what you were born with
you can do anything if you set your mindto it (just dont try this with hair, that could turn out bad)

well I can tell you what I do so that the curls dont bunch up together. I curl mine with an iron, in spiral fashion. I curl one toward the back the next toward the front, alternating the direction of the curls and they dont bunch up together.

Try using a bigger iron for the top of the hair if its curling up too much.

Also, if you have a few layers cut in the extensions you shouldnt be able to tell where your natural hair and extensions meet.

Hey everyone!

I apologize ahead of time as this is not really so much of an extension question, I just talk on this board the most and was looking for a little of your expertise!

Ok, I am going to be doing a new install with Kristins DLux hair (which I love!)  It is 18 inches, but I will prolly trim it up to about 16 inches.  Anyhow, my natural hair is straight, as are the extensions I am getting.  My natural hair comes just below my shoulders and is layered.

I had a bleaching episode awhile back (lol) which left the top of my hair much shorter from breakage.  This hair is only a couple inches long and comes down to about the top of my ears, give or take a little.

I would like to wear my hair curly but I feel like everytime I try and curl it I run into two problems.  One being that the short hairs ontop of my hair make it impossible for me to curl to the top to make it look like a natural curl.  They end up curling up to much and sticking out the sides, or just up!

Secondly, I can never keep my curls looking seperated!  I feel like within a little after curling my hair it all bunches up into on big curl and wraps together.  I have tried products, hairspray, etc. but nothing seems to work.

I was wondering if someone could look at the picture (or go to the link if it doesn't load) of Estella Warrens hairstyle.  I would love advice on how to acheive this look!  Thanks in advance!
