A member of another hair forum came up with a system to classify different degrees of straight, wavy, curly hair.
Many people visit more than one forum so they use the same signatures for all their forums.

In mys signature I am a 2a/ 2b - F/M - ii
This means I am a slight to medium wavy. I have Fine to Medium individual strands. My ponytail thickness is about 2 1/2 inches.

I have noticed people on here say their hair is like 3b or something. How do you know what number/rating your hair is?
