sorry to reply late,

i don't check this part of the board often..
anyway, what would work is flat ironing it and then using hair paste/wax.

I'm guessing that you need some gel (or something like that ). Like, when it's wet, play with it a bit. Just... a bit of product.
 
And nice haircut!

ok, well ive been on vacation all summer. i just got this haircut like 2 weeks ago but I DONT KNOW HOW TO STYLE IT! All ive been doing is straightening it, bbut it doesnt look how i wanted it to.
 
heres the pic of how i want it to look like-
 
 
my friends havent seen me all summer, and theyre going to see me tomorrow. how do i get my layers to separate like that??
