it depends what you have in your hair. if you have pomade its better to wash it out. when i play soccer i have carrot creme in my head so i just take a hot face towel and rub it in the direction of my waves. then durag. but try to wash your hair everyday

lets drop it shawty we here to help each oda out about waves.but yeah ill just do it in the wave pattern.n another question how about when we play sports like bball football when i sweat it messes up stuff n it smells.

im not hating on him. to be hating i have to be jealous of something that he has that i dont have. but i gave him tips. now that i noe that he has couple waves it wont be impossible for him. but it will be a slow process. but he has to keep at it.
but lemme say something on the sayin thank you it will be the last time i say something about it cus i think talkin about it is stupid. but this is a wave forum 99.9 we will never see each other. wave tips and buying someone a car are 2 different things. specially with one being on the internet.
when you your not looking for praise and make bring the topic up a 2nd time you contradict yourself. this site was made for people to give info and tips on hair. that the reason why people who have waves are still on this site to help newbies out. we dont expect nothing in return and we shouldn't.
i said my piece if he says thanks its his decision i think i do say thank when someone gives my tips but i dont think people should be askin people for it.

no when ure putting iin the shampoo put it in in the wave pattern then brush it in and when ure washing it out brush it in the wave pattern never work against ure wave pattern how old r u
Common myth but not true well atleast not for me Ive washed my hair both ways and got the same results. I regularly wash and condition my hair atg you can do it aslong as you brush it back while wet/moist. just my experience and opinion.

That happens to quite a few ppl. Thats why I dont wash my hair as often as I used to because some of my waves wouldnt show but they weren't gone its just that your hair isnt as laid down as before you washed it.

aye guys to let yah know i have waves but they cuming in so slowly ans they keep washing away when i take a shower i mean not compltetly wash away but some gone n da process goes all over again is there a way 4 it not to do that?but i do have nice waves.

this site is about waves and about helping each people who dont have have to get them. people post tips not to recieved praise or gratitude but for the plain fact to help each other. so when u give a tip dont expect the person to HAVE say thank you.
but to be on topic i think that its goin to be real hard for you to get waves. normally the only people who can waves are people who are 1/2 black or full latino. asian people have straight hair and its already hard for most latinos to get waves. although there are exceptions i see some white people with one or two waves on the sides or back. they are unintentional and there hair is cut very long.
use the s-curl gel. and grow your hair very long maybe the lenth u cut your hair is way to short for u to get waves. if this doesn't work i think u mite ne wasting time and money
