best method for fine russian hair???

I don't know if there is a difference between a wand and a purging tool, but you pre tipping your own hair is the best. You'll have more control like that. I actually quite enjoy doing it myself AND you save $$.
Some ladies here suggested putting a drop of nail glue over the tip of the strand so shedding won't occur. Good idea I think.

I ordered some shrinkies and I am going to pretip the hair myself, because I can't stand to see all that expensive hair go down the drain! Any suggestions for pretipping? What kind of glue have you used?

It sounds like the glue may not be penetrating through all the strands hense the shedding.  Why not try pre-tipping the hair with latex and nail glue then installing with micro-rings or micro-shrinkies?  The added benefit of this method is that you can re-use the same batch of hair over and over again saving yourself a fortune in the process too?

have you tried micro-thin wefts? i have tried every bond on the planet with russian hair, the best is mega bond, but still sheds. i found out that the best way to go is micro-thin wefts, you can pull them back as much as you want as long as you do maintenance

Do purging tools really work? what exactly do they do? what kind of glues have you used that work well?

I have been wearing extensions for a couple of years, and the last 3 years I have been using russian hair. I am totally addicted and I am not sure if I will ever go extension-less!
I have to pull my hair back a lot, so wefts don't work for me because my hair is very thin and fine and wefts are hard for me to disguise. I have found that single bond methods work best for me because of versitality and being able to hide the bonds.
I have been doing fusion, wich I like, but they shed like CRAZY!!!! I end up with half of the hair I started with, which is frustrating because the hair is so expensive! I am very careful with my products and care of my extensions and I know how to make them last!
My sister in law does my extensions and we work out a trade, but I want her to try something different so that I don't have all of this shedding! I think she likes doing the fusion by hand because it is so fast. I hope I can talk her into trying something new even if it does take more effort on her part! I think if I pretip them myself, and buy all of the neccesary products she would do it.

So, long story short, which single strand method is the best for no shedding and not being to obvious if you see the bond through my thin hair?
