i was wondering if giovanni & sons had a website? i did a search but could not find it. they are in la right(i used to live in the valley and i shopped there before)? i could drive there now but online in much easier with all the traffic lol
Lots of quality hair options.. And many of them (unlike GL hair) can be re-used for multiple installs..
Bohyme hair is great for lighter colors.. for darker colors you also have options like Extensions Plus, Giovanni & Sons, and Wagman Primus.. Lots of options girl!!

I really like bohyme remi hair, the quality is great and if you look after it , it can last for ages. Next time you are due an install you could ask a friend to try and install protac for you, its easy to do and a good way to test the hair, as once you take it out you can reuse it again!

Welcome to the forum =D and yup i agree great lengths is nice hair, but ridiculously overpriced.
Bohyme seems to have a pretty good reputation on here, there has been a faulty batch or two but its very rare. The other hair you can look into is the Elite hair i think Amms shop sells it (www.shrinkies.net).
It all depends on which colours you are looking at though, blondes are quite hard to find (except for the bohyme blondes) because most of the hair used is dark (indian or asian) and to get nice blonde hair it needs processing.
Bohyme is a good, reliable product though and the price is pretty darn good when compared with the quality of the hair (it can last up to 6 months or 2 installs if youre nice to it lol)
I think you can quite confidently say, this will be the last time you'll be paying more than $500 for an install though! Have fun =D

I'm so amazed to find out I could possibly do this myself. I have been using Great Lengths for about 3 years now. Getting my new set again on wed. costs me $900 for 16 inches, 3 bundles (i have very thin and fine hair, anymore than 3 bundles and i look like a big headed alien!) hmm, maybe I just have a big head? sorry, anyways, after shelling out my deposit, i just thought, ya know, i just can't stomach to throw this kind of money away anymore. So that started my search and i'm so amazed at the info on here and to find out that there are other "extension addicts" like me.! there is nothing i can do now that i've got my appointment, but i will be researching and gearing up for 2.5 months or so from now to do it myself. I'm in awe of some of the pics on here, from the great work you girls do. one thing i am a teeny bit nervous of, is the quality of hair. yes its overpriced, but my hair is always really nice no matting, no shedding, i mean it is a great job, but i'm sure i can find something else of similar quality. do you guys think Bohyme(sp?) is the closest to GL quality? thanks!
