 then it has to come down to how you feel about it. Take a good look at yourself in the mirror. Do you like what you see? Different people are always going to have different opinions. So if the desire to add more black to your hair is really coming from you, and that is what you really want, then go for it. However, if it is coming from people's opinions on what you should do, then you need to stop and think: what do you really want? Do you like your hair the way it is? If it is eating at you that much then I say go ahead. Just tell the hair dresser you want to add more pepper to your hair. The advantage to being a guy is that your hair grows so quickly (since most guys keep it short. I'm assuming you do) that if you don't like the outcome, it will be gone by your second hair cut after you dye it.

Now, from a girls point of view, there is nothing more attractive than a man who seems secure about his look. So whichever one is going to bring that out of you, then that is what you should go for.

 

Maybe try it, this one time, and see what kind of effect it has, and what kind of response you get. If it doesn't make that much of a difference, then you'll know it is not worth it to keep doing it.
