The secret is that Jeff and I decided to buy new and improved board software AND to dedicate the messageboards to their own server. It used to be that we had just 1 server for the entire site. Now we have several different servers for different site functions. The messageboards now have their own dedicated server so that all the huge volume of messages can be quickly and easily handled. The new software was selected because it was the easiest for posting and for speed. I am so glad it is working. :-)
The traffic to the site was getting so intense that we decided we just had to reorganize everything to provide faster access and more user friendliness. A lot of the credit goes to Jeff who did all the work (blowing Jeff a kiss of thanks). The new Interactive Style Selector also has its own dedicated server for speed of accessing the thousands of styles.

I agree. I used to come to these boards and they used to take so long to load that I would stop trying to read everything. Now they are amazing. I just wonder what happened but if it stays this easy and fast to use I am going to post often. :-)
Just wanted to say that I spent the last hour reading all the messages here and I am so happy that we have these new boards. Easy to use & fastttttttt. I use to bum on the old boards because they were so slow. Whatever you have done, thanks & keep up the great work on this site.
