   Apparently there is not much point concentrating on scalp oil production because it does it itself quite adequately.

 White peoples  scalp secretion reaches to the bottom of the hair strand but Afro hair does not .
 Unless you have a dry scalp condition or it has been badly neglected the amount of oil you secrete is not of significant to the quality of Black hair. The moisturization of the dry ends is paramount. Plus iron intake and and general supplement to keep your scalp health from within.
