Whenever I`ve heard men comment on hair they always like bangs. I like them on myself though once in a great while I`ll just brush and spray them back for a different look.
Although I mostly always have bangs, every once in awhile I decide to grow them out. However, the word on the hair beat is bangs are back in a big way for 2001. Remember the hideous super short bangs of a few years ago. Well those are not hot...thank goodness.
I agree with all above, do what works best for you. :-)
Best wishes, Karen

>>Choose what you think looks best on you but be prepared for a protracted and frustrating grow-out period if you get them and don`t like them.
Yes, most definitely think long and hard before cutting hair! {grin} Actually, what I would suggest is to give yourself "digital" bangs. There are programs everywhere that will show you how you look in various styles. Obviously, it won`t be 100% accurate, but at least you can get a fair idea how bangs will look on you.
Incidentally, I started growing my bangs out but have decided to keep them trimmed. I think. Don`t ask me five minutes from now!
Good luck!

Question...Last night on friends Pheobe did NOT have bangs. I realize these are taped in advance. Has she since cut bangs?? Her hair looked great last night. ( Sooooo glad they finally let her dump that wig thing from last season!!) Anyway, she looks good with or without bangs.

Jane Leeves` bangs are a disaster on her. Lisa Kudrow ("Phoebe") looks good, though. I`ve heard that some stylists want to bring bangs back in style, but I sense that, to the contrary, more women these days are growing them out than cutting them in. Choose what you think looks best on you but be prepared for a protracted and frustrating grow-out period if you get them and don`t like them.

I just read one hair mag that said bangs are back in a big way but another mag said that no, they are not back. So the question becomes who to believe.
