I think neutral actually means it can fit anyone~but I'm not sure. I should actually use warm tones but I go with neutral all the time.Someone else may have to help with that one cuz I dont know.

HI! I'am one of the people she was talking about who kinda abused at home box color. My hair was very light blonde, and although I mostly only colored my roots every month,I did occasionally "refresh" the color all over.
I also just went back to my darker, more natural color, but did it myself. The first time it almost looked black, but in one week it had faded dramatically. It then had a few blonde streaks coming through (but nothing to cry about, kinda just looked like I had highlights put in) So I used a demi,as the advice on here often says~and it looks great!
I too was expecting damage, but only had a little dryness on my ends.In fact after the demi it feels amazing and is very soft. I also got the Artec color depositing shampoo and use it every couple of days just to keep it from fading.
So my guess is if you're going to a pro you really shouldnt have any problems at all. It may take more then once, but it wont be anything to worry about. Good luck!

Going back to your natural color should not be damaging - most stylists use a demi (deposit only) color when darkening a client's hair. Trouble only usually occurs when you abuse box colors or overbleach. In your case, you are just going back to your natural color and you plan to have it done in a salon. I think you should be fine with a decent colorist.
There is a chance that your haircolor may fade a bit after you go back to your natural color. That's fairly normal but after a few color applications the fading should be less noticeable. You can probably return 4-6 weeks after your first color for a touch-up. In the meantime, there are also great color shampoos available to help extend the life of your color; you may want to look into that.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!

I want to go back to my all dark brown color. If I go to a salon and have them dye it back to my natural dark color, will it be damaging? And I also want to know if the color will fade since it's dyed on blonde? Will I have to go a second time to make sure it takes better? And how long will that be to wait without damage?thanks!
