Jasmyn:
I am also a protac advocate. It is about the easiest do it yourself install method I have ever used. If you are familair with using the clip ins, you will find the application of the protac to be simple. The protac application will be very similar to how you put in your clip ins, except you will use the tapes and apply them to the weft before application instead of sewing on clips. You can even double or triple-weft sections as you would with clips ins.
Check out Sherries' demo and store.
Good luck and enjoy!

Sherrie, again, thank for your response, it is very appreciated, I will check out the link for the application using the protac method. I just hope they will be easy enough to use as I am installing them myself.

Nice to meet you Sherrie, I really don't know many people here. Ohio is a nice place to live, just wish there was more access to beauty supplies, shopping in general as I am in a small town.

Jasmin, if you are doing weft bonding, the protac is by far the easiest and least messy way to install. I have a demo of the protac install here:

I hear ya girl...Im in Ohio too, and beauty supplies are pretty limited.

Sherrie, I also meant to tell you that I do have access to purchasing the hair extensions and the latex bonding glue, but have not found a local store in Ohio, or a vendor to purchase the protac, liquid gold bonding products from. I do sell hair extensions products on the retail market, such as clip in sets but I don't use them myself. My vendor does have a lot of quality products, just not the ones I personally would like for my own use. I am also searching for another vendor to purchase from that has remi wefted hair extensions.  This post is not meant as an advertisement, I am just being honest and upfront that although I have access to hair extensions products, I am searching for products for my own personal use as well.

Hi Sherrie, thank you so very much for responding. I am considering purchasing the LG again and giving it another try. And I am very interested in the protac as well, just not so familiar with it.  I am searching for a good bonding product as I have been using primarily wefted hair with the latex bond and it has caused damage to my natural hair. If i can find another bonding alternative that is gentler but holds as well, it would be such a relief. I live in Ohio and there just is not as much available in the small town I live in and I had always had access to more products prior to coming to Ohio, even in Michigan the products were more accessable, then I  moved to Texas where hair extensions products were also very accessable. I appreciate any guidance or information you could assist me with, as I am totally unfamiliar with the protac and the liquid gold bond products.  Change is always difficult I suppose, but I really need to find another bonding method to keep from losing or damaging my hair further.

I guess Ive never thought the fumes were 'that' strong. But I suppose different peoples sense of smell and tolerance to different substances vary from person to person.

Ive always had really good luck with LG to bond wefts. With the sandwiching method I usually can wear them for 5-7 weeks. But LG is very messy. So now I use protac, which is easy and NO MESS!

Hi, I purchased Liquid Gold bond, but when I opened the bottle, the fumes were extremely strong. The instructions indicated to use in a very well ventilated area, but I was so overwhelmed by the fumes or vapors that I never used it. Can anyone give me any advice for use of the Liquid Gold bond and how well does this bonding product actually hold the hair extensions within your natural hair? Thank you in advance for any advice or information.
