You're supposed to see the white bulb on hair that naturally falls out.

I had a problem with my hair falling out at the roots, I was wearing extensions and bleaching from dark brown to white as possible, (and leaving it on my scalp) after 8 months a few clumps of extenions would just start falling out( with my hair at the roots, like you could see the "white ball"!
I totally freaked out took out all my extensions and dyed my hair brown (natural color) and let it rest for a few months, now I have micro rings in and still see a few stray hair coming out at the roots, but nothing nearly as bad as before, plus I was brushing way too hard.

I had been dying my hair from between a 5 and 6 to around a 9 and 10 for a long time.  I've finally gone a little darker.  I want to get my hair back to my normal color, but my hairdresser was afraid the change would be too much.

Perhaps, I will try to get a good color when I get my extentions out  and just do clipins for special ocassions.  My hair will actually grow if I don't color it (or rip it out).

Sounds like you may need a few months break from wearing extensions.
Your hair has been processed?
You may be putting too much stress on your head.

Hi Shellbell,
Welcome to the forum!
I have had problems like that with fusion hair, hair pulled right from the roots.
I haven't any such problems with the Protac method, it's easy, very affordable, I am a true fan.
You should make some research on the topic on this forum!Wink

Hello,  I am new to the forum.  Hopefully, some of you can help me.  I have had great lengths for about 3 years now.

I can honestly say that I do not believe that my hair is strong enough to support the bonds.  I've had various stylist put them in, even stylist that were highly recommended.  This time my hair is coming out by the root after having them in for less than 2 months.  My hair is thin and fine and has been processed.  My hair stylist projected that I could wear them about 3 and 1/2 months.  With the expensive of great lengths, I don't know that I would want to have them done every two months or not. Plus, they take forever.

At this time, I do have some loss of hair due to past extension applications.  Are there any other methods that anyone recommends?
