Don't you love it when people say what you believe to be beautiful is "in the minority" (as if anyone would know, have they surveyed the whole world? Are they God or something? That is just dumb. Ridiculous, unecessary, and condescending)

Gong Li and Bai Ling are both very beautiful women, but Bai Ling is a little more petite and a little more feminine. It depends I guess on what type of woman you believe is the more beautiful type.
 
Whether my viewpoint or yours is in the minority, who knows? Who cares? It is personal preference. Obviously.

Bai had very nice hair. I don't like those thinning type cuts at all. add short hair and yuck.

I cannot see any way in which Bai Ling is more beautiful than Gong Li--certainly not in the hair stakes. Anyway, I guess your different opinion shows how we all assess things in a different way--but I believe you'd be in the minority on this.

I agree she is pretty, but I actually believe Bai Ling is more beautiful.

Gong Li is amazing! I loved the knee length piece she wore for Memoirs of a Geisha. They really broke the rules with her hair in that film and she looked so good they got away with it.

Gong Li, unlike Bai Ling, is a true Chinese super beauty. After having her hair fairly short--shoulder length--for some time, she seems to have gone for the long luxuriant look in her publicity work for Miami Vice.
