My hair is a light brown color and it got even lighter once I took my braids out. Maybe u were in the sun and that can lighten hair (that's what I think happened to me).

I know black people with naturally and I don't mean darkish brown...i mean red.
 
Alot of people with dark hair, may appear black but sometimes have an off black color to it.  ALso, certain chemicals can cause discoloring, i would think.

Hey yall.... I took my braids out today and observed my hair.... and my hair color is reddish brown.... where did this come from??? I never heard of any black person with redish hair??? And by the way my hair is thick and heathy so I know it's not a health thing someone please give me some comfort!!!
