what supa fresh said is VERY true i wait at least a 3 to 4 weeks before getting an actual cut but i always get a line 2 weeks into it 6 dollars for me

Truth be told waves are only as fresh as the hairline. If I don't have a crisp line my waves dont seem the same to me.

I'd say throw in some let's jam for shine, brush for 10 mins, put on the stockin cap or du-rag, and take it off right before u get to the event
