i have to tell you- i found the cream of nature at the beauty supply near me, its cheap shampoo, however, i really like it, i even use it at home and sometimes i send some home with clients.
i really like KMS- i will find out the exact name of the ones i like, they have a certain oil that speeds the drying time, and makes the hair feel like new.
I second the nix on the Neutrogena Triple Moisture--- great shampoo, but not for Protac. I used it again, and had slippage again.
I am not really wanting to spend the $$ on Pureology- but I need something that will help my color form fading ( I dye my hair from light red natural color to BRIGHT reds- so it fades very easily. ) I have heard such great things about Pureology- I guess I'll shell out the dough and try it out.
Does anyone know of any other good 'poos and conditioners for both protac and for keeping color from fading?

good idea to make a list of shampoos that work w/ Protac!
I use non-sulfate shampoos exclusively now:
Avalon Organics, from an organic store
Creme of Nature from Sherrie's website
and as conditionners, I particularly like the ice shine conditionner of Pantene, sleek and straight from Pantene and all the time renewal conditioners from Pantene
I also like the conditionner for blondes of John Frieda, and the last conditioner of Goldwell and..I think that's it!
i use suave clarifying (its around a dollar) to rub in along the tapes and against my scalp.....and i dont ever really 'shampoo' the extension hair...the suds just sorta rinse over the ends........ i have a variety of shampoos, some sulfate free and some not, that i sometimes use for just the extension hair (lanza smooth somethingorother i like pretty well)......also a variety of conditioners for the ends, but most recently i am liking the goldwell kerasilk (i believe amanda from the uk recommened that one..it really is great i love it!)
My shampoo of choice is NOT Neutrogena TRiple Moisture! Lol (for anyone that read my other post, I think it is what made ALL my protacs fall out in the shower)
I have Pureology and used it religiously on my last install, and I am using it religiously again, and I really like it. Go Pureology! (smells heavenly, too....)

I use Purelogy shampoo and conditioner... Love it!!!! have not had any slipping!!! If I use the extra triple moisturizing conditioner I make sure it's not close to the tapes, did that once and that will cause it to slip.
Oh almost forgot... I shampoo almost every day!!

I really like Pureology Antifade Hydrating Shampoo. It never seems to loosen my bonds, keeps my hair and color bright and shiny, and leaves my hair smelling super good. I shampoo every one to four days.
Here's to the end of my BAD HAIR LIFE!

In light of all the discussion about Protac lifting and slipping, I thought it would be a good idea to list the brand of shampoo we are using with our Protac installs and the success or failure we have encountered. Please include how often you are washing your hair.
I am using Cream of Nature Sulfate Free Shampoo purchased from HairExtensions101.com. I am currently washing my hair every other day. I have found very minimal slippage with this brand of shampoo.
Looking forward to hearing about others experiences.
Current Install: 18" Bohyme 613 and 613/27 with Protac and LG!!
