She's been extensively longer than this recently. Now that she's on book tour, she must not have time to do much with her hair.

Ater quite a stay in the Valley of the Blonds Miss Electra has returned to her darker self.
First off she went really dark...
 
Then, a few days later, was a few shades lighter!
 
The second link has some interesting recent pics of carmen, for comparrison sake...
