Hi Ladies,

Due to all the wonderful advice I've received and found on this forum, I finally installed my first Elite Thermofiber with protac. I have to say I LOVE the protac. I had a weave for a little over a year and it always bothered me that I could never get to my scalp! With the protac, I feel like I'm not wearing any extensions at all! They are light and the protac was sooo easy to use. I will never ever ever go back to any other form of extensions and do believe I am hooked.  I quite like the Elite Thermo. I'm impressed by how soft it is - however the ends are quite dry, which is not nice. I had to snip the ends last night, and now it's a bit shorter Cry

For my next install, I'm going to try the Unique Wiiv that was suggested by someone (Aphrodiva?) here and if that goes well, perhaps I'll upgrade to Bohyme one of these days.  However, I'm just glad I've found a method that I can do myself, not break the bank and still look fabulous.

I used one and a half packs (approx. 6oz) of the Elite Thermo #3, 4 rows, double wefted and one row triple wefted with one row on each side. The install took me about an hour and 45 and the curling took me an hour.

BTW - a SPECIAL thank you to Sherrie for your amazing demo on hairextensions101.com - I couldn't have done it without you and to AMM for all your wonderful advice.

Here's to a life-long addiction to hair extensions...Clap
