Yeah, I tried doing it on my own, and it was horrible! It pulled and was all bunched. I would love to have them done though!

HI, I'M NEW ON HERE, AND I'VE BEEN READING ALOT OF YA'LL POSTS. I FOUND ALOT OF THEM INFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL.

BUT IN REPLY TO THIS POST, I WAS THINKING OF GETTING THIS DONE TO MY HAIR. I HAD SAW IT ON A WEBSITE ADVERTISING IT AS "EZWEFT" THE RINGS ALREADY COME ON THEM. BUT I WAS GOING TO DO MY OWN HAIR AND BY THE RINGS AND HAIR SEPERATE. I FIGURE IF I COULD DO MY OWN BRAIDS, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THIS. WE SHALL SEE!!!Smile

Moki- yes everything is tucked inside the beads. I do use sewing in some flat weaves, but it all depends; on density of the hair, client's lifestyle, client's preference...

Aimee and Amm- I never tried doing this on myself. But this is how I install it on a client. I use 3" wefts. I like the ones called Maximizers by Micro Point Links cause these are super thin and the beaded hair are called Accents. I use a really strong clip, duckbills are the best, then bead one end, iron out the wefted hair and continue.

Hope this helps

I need to practice this more. On my dolly I can do this technique pretty well but on myself, it's a lot more difficult. I get "pouches" between the rings. Any advice for the DIY, Cyber?

HI Cyber,
Welcome back!
Are the beads attached to the clients own hair, or are they attached on the wefts? On your website your flat tracks look like the attachments are closer together on the back of the head. I would love to learn more! Thanks for the post!!!!

Hey Girls,

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet. But this technique, my clients are loving so far.
Sticky tapes are getting kinda messy

I am using super thin wefts and attaching it with hair that have the beads already attached, I'm sure regular beads like the silicone ones work fine too as well as other wefts and hair. Plus the hair is so easy to remove and easy to reinstall...without wetting the hair!

So far it is working for my clients with really short hair like 1-2" inch as well as the clients with see-thru hair.

Happy Experimenting!
