I`m almost embarassed to admit this, but here goes.
In the eighties, to get my bangs REAL big and high, I would spray them with hairspray, and bend over, then blow dry them upside down. It was the best way to get "gravity-defying height", which trust me, I got. This also works to "wing" out the sides of the hair.
Thank Goodness I don`t do that anymore.
