QuoteReplyTopic: My Bohyme French Refined-Pics Posted: December 14 2006 at 8:36pm
Sorry I have taken so long to respond! I havent logged in here in quite awhile.....
Fina-- Yes-- I had Heather do a really good trim this time. You are right-- she isn't crazy about cutting alot, but I hate that "girl with the long, one length hair" look! LOL.... so she spent a good 30 minutes just layering it up.
Halo-- I got the hair from Super hair factory in Alanta. They have a website too ( same name). Customer service is great! The colors are a # 4 that I deposited a bit more red on ( #4 is a very plain medium brown) and it's mixed with a #2.
Thanks to the rest of you for all the nice comments. BTW-- NO! I do NOT have a naturally fast metabolism. Quite the opposite! I bust my ass in the gym and eat a really tight diet most of the time. If I don't watch starchy carbs and do my cardio, I can be quite "chunky" on my 5'1" frame!
Just an update-- the FR hair is still in great shape. i truly love this install. It has been a month now and the curl has dropped ever so slightly and looks even better to me. Another tip-- never BRUSH this hair, only use a PICK to gently rake through the waves and it will never get huge and frizzy! I use Kerasilk (mixed in water) in a spray bottle between washes to refresh the curl. Lots of CHI silk infusion too.

Wowza! You look *amazing*!!!!
Please don't tell us that you have a naturally high metabolism, and never go to the gym.....
Seriously though, LOVE the hair! You are inspiring!
Wow you are one hot chick. I'm so jealous. I was only saying to my hubby the other day, damn some girls get everything, gorgeous hair, gorgeous body and gorgeous face. You are bloody beautiful!!!!! x
Girlfriend!! I SO need to get back to Heather! (I just did a full shrinkies install since I can't seem to be able to make the trip soon). Anyway I'm so glad you posted pics of the French Refined -- it looks AWESOME with your hair - the blending is flawless! Did Heather do the trim for you? I know she doesn't like to cut the hair much -- but your styling is great!!
Wow! You look so amazing. You could easily compete in a miss fitness competition and with your hair like that no one else would stand a chance . Hot diggity!!!!!
I learn to love and try to understand everyone I meet. I see the rainbow hiding in their eyes.

Thanks so much for all the compliments! You gals are so funny too I sit here and giggle at some of your posts! ( The bagel bite comment....too funny...lol) Funny thing is, after I have dieted for a photoshoot for several weeks, I literally stuff myself until the sight of any more food is revolting! LOL.. Anyway...to answer some questions--
The hair I have in is 22inches ( with a really good trim though. I think she may have actually cut about 2-3 inches off now that I think about it.) I am only 5'1"....so I'm hesitant to wear it TOO long. The curls in the first photos are have been done with a 1 1/2 inch barrel iron. The curls in some of the other shots by the water was after it got damp...then you see one where it is all WET-- that's the hair's natural curl pattern.
I have the hair installed with the pinchbraid method. ( little TINY ones all over my head by Heather at Black Cherry Atlanta. She is super AMAZING! We are thinking about doing like 4-5 colors next time...maybe even some bold RED and platinum streaks....IF I dont chicken out! lol. I'm generally not the "funky" type but I think this French refined is so awesome, it may look really cool!
It's really only about a pack and a third of hair. Maybe 5-6 oz! That's all. My own hair is a bit past my shoulders and I swear...the exact same curl pattern as this hair! I finally found a great match. I love it curled...but it looks so great just all ROCKED out and scrunchy too. When I want the "rocker" look when I'm on stage with my band, I just wash, scrunch and go. When I want something more pristine, I curl it with a curling iron--Best of both worlds!
Amm- that is so funny about the Jenny McCarthy comment! I used to get that a few years ago....but I thought people just meant my animated, goofy facial expressions!
Thanks again for all the feedback!

oh you are gorgeous ( lol, and your pics arent 'offensive'...they just make me sorry i ate so much yesterday, AND today ) now those curls in the photos, was that from a curling iron? the curls look really natural!

Yes-- it is the 22 inch and we even trimmed an inch or so off! It was mega long! The hair is holding up well. Still soft...though the curls get kinda wild after a day or two. i just spray it down with Kerasilk and water and its like new! I love how low maintainance it is.
