How are you getting your hair to stay in that French Twist?
I just twisted, tucked the ends in and shoved 3-4 bobby pins in. I found that after a couple of weeks, the tapes have loosened up enough that when I put the bobby pins in, they will slide between my scalp and the tapes and they hold really secure. And no, it doesn't hurt!!
Here is mine, I put mine in a clip alot. I took my hair down from the clip and took a picture of my hair in a braid for another post, and then threw it back up into the clip to take a picture of the thickness, but here is a messy picture of the hair twisted up and in a clip. Normally when I wear my hair in a clip its a little neater than this!
I always start mine about half an inch from the base of my head. I have just enough hair for the protacs to stick on the bottom. After installing, I always wear it low for the first few days. But after than, when they start to lift, I can put a ponytail pretty much anywhere.
I usually just wear it about the middle of my head because it's more comfortable, but there are times I wear it higher with no probs.
Maybe you could experiement and see if you could put the protac at the bottom, but not right at the hairline, prob like a half inch away, does that make sense?
in the back, my bottom-most row is even with the exact middle of my ear lobes...if i put any rows lower than this they always come loose within a week (i dont know if its the movement of my neck or if i accidently get conditioner there??)....but by starting there i am still able to get enough rows above it to have fullness and length AND i can easily pull my hair into a ponytail at the middle of my head (its pulling tight to go any higher) and my favorite is to twirl it around and use a claw clip to make a messy pony updo
i have five rows, the bottom three go across only the back of my head, the top two go from temple to temple (they provide the hair on the sides of my head)
Oh that is great news. I hope you find some photos to share with some options shown. I really would be disappointed if I suddenly found myself with fewer (and more time consuming) options than I have now. I mean my hair is relatively long, just straight and gets stringy. I just want a little more oomph in it. I guess that means I want the world LOL
Also if you can explain more how you do the placements of your wefts that might be good to know as well. I understand what you mean by the hairlines, but do you still go all the way across in between on the back or do you use shorter rows or something else?
Thanks in advance.

I wear ponytails almost everyday, and my lowest weft is 1-2 inches from the base of my hairline. I make sure not to double up my bottome 2 rows, as it is easier to put the hair up into a pony. I also make sure that I am at least 1/2-1" away from the side hair line. (Does that make any sense???) I have some pics floating around here showing the different options of how I can wear my hair. I'll see if I can find them. But my pony is in the middle of the back of my head, just about inline with the top of my ears.
wow, that doesn't leave much space between the part line and top of ears, just a couple of inches then, I'm wondering if I should give up the ponytail idea? Do you think it would be too weird not to have very many wefts in there?
My hair is fine and straight, would like more body as I'm losing the humidity battle here and a little more length (maybe just 2" more) is a big bonus though not necessary if its thicker looking, but now I'm not sure. Hmmm
still possible? I finally for the first time order 3 bulk hanks of the hair to see colors today from Shrinkies Finally one step in the right direction. I wanted to feel the hair and see for myself that it wasn't like doll hair, etc. I may even use the loose bulk hair to enhance ponytails, etc, but that did get me thinking if the wefts were going to make me need to wear hair down all of the time?
