I suspect your lemon shampoo says "clarifying" somewhere on it?  If so, it is not meant to be used every wash, but only occasionaly to remove buildup.  They make shampoos that are like paint in the bottle (not the see through kind) that are color depositing shampoos.  I've seem them on occasion in the dye isle of the store, but usually you would have to get them online or at a beauty supply shop.  The brown would likely darken your hair a good bit, especially if its been colored in the past and is porous.

Hello again everyone.
I recently posted a thread about head and shoulders shampoo. Thank you everyone for your help and answers.

I have some further questions regarding blonde hair.

Are any of you aware of any products or ingredients (both natural and chemical) that darken blonde hair?

For example, I know rosemary darkens hair, while lemon and camomille (sp?) lightens it.

I bought a lemon shampoo and just like everyone said, it lightened my hair but I started to get dandruff...I think the lemon dries it out too much...so I'm on a mission to find a natural shampoo with natural ingredients....

I was looking at prarie naturals. Any recommendations or comments on this company?

Sorry for all the questions. I hope you guys can help :)
