I used beyond the zone-turn up the heat on the wawa, it made it quite a bit softer.  It's a bit heavy works great with the wawa but I'd be careful getting too much on your natural hair it can make it a bit oiler.  Oh yeah it's a bright orange spray bottle & I bought mine at Sally's.  I felt the wawa needed a bit thicker silicone to make it soft.

Maybe heat for a couple of seconds and then move up the hair and heat that longer AND then clip up the curl....hopefully then I wouldn't fry the ends.
Thanks,
JeepGirl

Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great!

yeah i really like the colour. the pureness of the 613 with no yellow tinges. i also luv how it curls so easily and holds the curl. when i wear HH the curl always seems to fall out. and the price! it is definatly a better thermo than the american dream in my opinion.

however the difference in texture and the way it feels means it just doesnt blend as well.
when i had my hair shorter and i wore a full head of the wawa i actually think it blended better into my natural than using it as highlights as i am now.

im going to give it another go ..washing and styling and clipping them in next weekend.

i have a dlux order on the way tho ...i think i will be going back to the HH.

Love WaWa's colors....but it is synthetic hair....and no it doesn't get softer after washing.....I have it installed now.....but for the money....I guess you can't go wrong....it is actually better than the HH I bought from Sally's one time.
Finally figured out to curl this stuff.....I know Sherrie and some of the other gals tried to explain it.....well they did but I just didn't follow ALL the directions....ie...after curling.....KEEP the hair in the same curl just like it came off the iron.....and CLIP it up and let cool.......it works!
Now I have the curl and body I wanted from it in the first place....if I'd only listened. Now this hair is almost 6 weeks old and the ends are fried and itchy....even after cutting and applying stuff...lol....but it might not be in such bad condition if I would of paid attention early on.
Live and Learn!
Yes...I would order this hair again because it is so cheap.....just don't treat it like humman hair on the ends.
Thanks,
JeepGirl

same here kirsty, I just cannot adjust to the feel of ANY synthetic hair. The one thing that I just cant get past is 'feel'. If I could find the secret to making synthetic hair feel like human hair I would be a convert for sure!

Personally, I think it gets harder after washing it.

What I do to make it softer, is while it's still a little damp, flat iron it, then put some biosilk, or any product similar, and flat iron it again.

After that, I find it to be really soft and silky feeling, but after sleeping it goes back to that coarse feeling.

yeah sherrie i agree it is very silky compared to a yaki. i have washed it and found it to be quite hard.
i was just wanting to know if, after a few washes, the texture improved or whether is stays roughly the same.
thanks

this texture is called a silky yaki  or super yaki according to the package. But if you ask anyone with yaki textured hair they will tell you its NOT yaki at all. But it does have a slightly textured feel. Straight out of the package I think the wawa is quite silky compared to many synthetic hair types.

hi guys i recently bought a packet of 613 wawa for a strip of highlights in my hair.however the texture is quite course compared to my natural hair. i was just wondering if after a few washes the hair softens up.

cheers
