TAngles...I haven't tried to straighten this FR yet... I so love it to be like a body wave most of the time.....but I did let it natually dry the other day and put some extra tiny curls in it.....was very cute...I'll straighten soon and let you know how it goes. Maybe Sherrie has straightened this hair.
Thanks,
JeepGirl

Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great!

how does the fr do with blow drying straight? i typicially wear my hair straight, but sometimes i like to dry it curly-(my own hair is curly)
and when i do that with my straight( italian wave)it gets a curl but more friz.
i would like a weft that would do both, dry real smooth, without a pain and maybe a quick swipe with my flat iron, but wear curly when i want to and look nice, not like tumble weed.
what do u think would work best for that
thanks

Thanks Jeep. Ebonyline was incredibly easy to deal with. Very nice and VERY fast, but I'm not sure how I feel about this hair yet. Time will tell. I just ordered with Amm and will make a point to order soon with Sherrie too. I am looking forward to dealing with these ladies! Your French Refined is the texture I have been looking for and I so Very Much Love seeing everyone's photos. It really helps answer a lot of color and texture questions.

Sixlabors..yeah I guess the longer you go with curly textures the more chances for tangling. I also ordered from Ebonyline....can't remember exactly what I ordered.....guess I could do a search on here and find out...but what ever it was....I wasn't happy with the hair....I think I ordered a body wave.....it didn't last the month. I got this hair from Sherrie's site!

ILW..this is Bohyme French Refined and it's 18 inches.

Thanks,
JeepGirl

Jeep,
Your Glamour Hair looks exactly like my Bohyme FR. I wouldn't say that mine is heavy and/or tangled, just super curly. I still wonder if it isn't another curl pattern (deep wave). I have yet to see a Bohyme FR like  mine. I ordered from Ebonyline. Did you get yours from Sherrie?

I think this Bohyme FR hair is thinner...maybe that's a better description....than other Companies sell....the Glamour FR I had was wayyyyyyyy heavy and tangled....this Bohyme is SOOOOOOO much nicer!
Ok I'll try to post the Glamour Hair in FR and the Bohyme FR.
Not to mention I've learned how to layer my hair better....not as scared to cut on it like I use to be.....but I'm still nervous with new hair....one wrong move and  POOF....new hair is now short hair. So I take my time...ususally I'll trim it off and on for a couple of days.

This isGlamourFR

My God that Glamour Hair was heavy......and basically looked like crap now that I look back at it. I think that may have been my second or third install of any kind. Started out with shrinkies....then I got Elite wefts and then the FR. Looking back sometimes is NOT good! LOL
Talking about a BIG HEAD.....eeewwwwwww!

no I dont think the french refined is softer than silky straight. Its still soft, its still silky in comparison to alot of curly textures or anything in the bohyme platinum line. But not so silky like the SS

Hey sherrie...can you say whether the FR is softer than SS?
For example, similar to RK?

Finafina I got basically the same effect as JeepGirl when I used wore the French refined. I still like my barrel curls aqnd it curls EASY with the curling iron and keeps the curl....AND has a ton of volume and body, so if you are into the big full bodied hair and need something a little less smooth, the french refined is great! If you like silky smooth then french refined is NOT the way to go.

FinaFina....I understand where you are coming from....I'm always on the hunt for great full bodied hair...but soft and not heavy.
But remember this is French Refined........I just ran my curling iron down the hair once and then rolled on a large barrel iron.

As far as the one to discover this hair and look....wish I could take credit for it but I can't....Sherrie and Rocket are the ones that convinced me to order the French Refined.....I just layered mine more to blend in with my hair.... more like the back of Amms hair.... well as close to that look as I can get with my crappy hair.........so Kudos to those gals

I just took my hair down after sleeping on it with a side twisty like Amm showed in here thread....and very nice large-natural looking body..so for a get up and get out fast hair do....I'm so in! I'll try to post a pic later so you can see what it looks like.
Thanks,
JeepGirl

OK Jeep Girl:

You done it!!  You seem to have achieved what so many of us are looking for: a really great body wave that holds. . . seems that whenever we get body wave hair it turns out to be straight after one wash. . . yours looks so smooth and awesome!!!  THANKS FOR POSTING. . . Sherrie.  . . here I come with the body wave Bohyme order!!!

Thanks ladies for all your great info and ideas about my curls.....
I'm just going to sit here and admire JeepGirl's beautiful hairApprove
I'm not sure about this whole "curl pattern" thing, but I am beginning to enjoy not having to worry about the curls in the rain and snow.
I have a feeling I will be buying ALOT of hair before I an as educated as the rest of you.

Wierd, yeah, that's the impression of how FR looked, but mine was tighter, and when I tried to curl it like that, it looked....weird....

Hmm, crazy, makes me wonder....Anyways, I love it!! It looks great!!!

Thanks Ladies....I got tons of compliments today on this hair...makes you feel kinda funny when you don't fess up to it being your real hair. lol
This French Refined is much softer than the FR I got from Glamour Hair....and it's not as thick either. If this hair holds up for 2 installs I'll be sold!
Gina, I've never worn SS hair before so I can't compare...but Sherrie could, she's worn both.

I think tonight I will pony tail it and twist it up and see what it does.

Sherrie, did you blow dry this FR or let it air dry? I don't want to destroy this hair....but it is really nice hair so far. How long did it last for you?
Did it dry out on you on the ends or puff up?
Hey Rocket...how did yours hold up....it was Rocket that had this in lately also wasn't it?

SIxLabors...very pretty.... have you tried to curl it with a curling iron?
Mine looked very similar to yours before I pulled it out. I don't mind that it has that wet wavy look....it just gives me another option to wear it that way if I choose to.

Sherrie thanks to you and all your help I picked that color. I wanted the 14 and 14b but it wasn't available in FR....but Sherrie convinced me that 12 was a close match and if truth be told....I think I like this color better.
I am a redhead and before I was a little lighter....but this is perfect for my roots to grow in....if it wasn't for a few gray hairs in my crown area, I wouldn't even worry about it...and I have a darker brown birth mark in my crown right where I have a slight part.

Thanks everyone for the nice compliments...it makes you feel so much better for a new install. So you gals think my colors are good....I mean from my hair to the extensions....I'm always worried I look like I have extensions......Wacko

Thanks,
JeepGirl

looks beautiful jeepgirl!

sixlabors i too bought some FR (from hairsisters) with a tighter curl similar to yours...if that's too curly for you, while my wefts were still damp from a wash and condition (i don't have it installed yet, i just like to wash the hair to see the pattern before the install) i braided it into several medium-sized braids and let it airdry and that alone loosened the curl. you could loosen it even further by putting it in some of those big rollers and either letting it airdry or sitting under a hood dryer. i haven't tried them, but there are products made to "relax" curly hair a bit (like aveda's be straight, etc etc)
