For me it is true cause it did not take no time at all to get the top but the sides is where I found myself doing more brushing than the top or back.

ugh... my sides came in before my top.... just brush your hair and in time everything will come in.... everybody has different hair qualities... so obviously no two people are gonna be alike... so to answer your question... No its not true

is it true that to get waves on the sides you have to  brush them a little more than you brush the back and top or will they develop the same time as the rest of them.
