Hi Nursie,
YES! I agree completely with meinny. The paves shampoo and conditioner is AMAZING. I just switched to nexxus (I have my extensions out at the mo) and it is more expensive and not nearly as good. I'm going back to my Paves.
I have also found the cream of nature shampoo that sherrie sells quite good for the protac. I didn't get any slippage using it.

I really like the Avalon shampoos, you can find them in health food/ organic stores. It's completely natural, no sulfate.
They smell amazing, they have one clarifying shampoo that smells like lemon, a moisturizing shampoo with lavender, one that makes your hair shiny with I forgot which plants (smells awesome too!) and I just bought another one for scalp problems, because Protac definitely irritates my scalp.
They are about $8 I think, and are very easy to use!
the very best shampoo im using is paves. it comes in a blue bottle. its 6.00 in walgreens and i use the cxonditioner too. you wont believe the change in your hair after using this shampoo and conditioner . and ive tried them all. this is the best stuff . its a no sulfate shampoo and conditioner. it makes hair soft and takes away the driness. and the frizziness. it is the absolute best. sometimes they put it on sale buy one get one and i stock up!!
i've been using clarifying shampoos at my scalp to keep from loosening up the protac tapes, but i'd like to use something better for my hair.....but anytime i use something 'moisturizing' my protac slips.....
anyone using protac, please tell me what shampoos work for you, thanks!
